Our customer, located in various locations across New England, has ongoing long-term contract openings for Financial Analysts to perform accounting, financial analysis, earned value management and cost estimating duties. Applicants MUST be US Citzens. Primary Responsibilities: -Review financial data and maintain documented records for inclusion cost proposals, contract reviews, forecasts or variance explanations. -Respond to financial questions and provide explanations to ensure management understanding. -Ensure compliance with internal procedures and DAR/FAR government regulations. -Participate in audits and interface with auditors to ensure understanding of financial data, methodology, and applicability under appropriate regulations. -Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant discipline(s), industry practices, trends, and applications.
Requirements: -Masters degree preferred in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience. -4 to 7 years of relevant work experience in the defense industry preferred. -Basic working knowledge of line of business's cost and organizational structure, accounting structure, CAS, GAAP, and FAR/DAR regulations. -Good interpersonal skills in dealing with customers, suppliers, peers, and middle and department managers. -Proficient in building spreadsheet models and using database applications in the personal computer environment for financial analysis. -Ability to interface with auditors and respond to simple audit requests. -High mental/visual application required to evaluate profit impact and perform complete financial analysis.

Our client, located in the Metro West, MA area, has a long-term contract opening for a Financial Services Department Head to provide support to the organization across the following areas: accounting and finance, financial management and analysis, policy and compliance, financial information systems management, property management, payroll, and travel administration. All applicants MUST be US Citizens and be eligible to receive Secret Security Clearances.
Responsibilities: -Oversee management of financial planning and management processes ensuring that the needs of management and the central administration are met, and that the company operates in a fiscally sound manner. -Coordinate planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting to support operations and strategic planning. -Ensure that current accurate and complete financial data are maintained for government contracting, and that auditing for government agencies are well-supported. -Provide leadership and oversee management of support services delivered by the Financial Services Department. -Ensure that accounting and finance functions are performed to meet the quality, responsiveness, and cost expectations set by management. -Key responsibilities include accounting services (cash management, financial statements, closings, etc.), property management, contract and sponsor management, accounts payable and travel services. -Identify, prioritize and coordinate information technology requirements for the department. -Lead data integrity and quality control initiatives for financial and business information. -Provide support and training for business information systems.
Requirements: -MS or MBA in Finance, Management, Business Administration or equivalent. -Proven expertise in management and problem-solving in the areas of finance, accounting, and government contract administration through 15 years of experience. -Demonstrated knowledge and skills in department-level strategic planning. -Prior experience as Financial Officer, knowledge of the acquisition policy environment in DoD, FAA, NASA, and Intelligence communities. -Knowledge of operations or organizations conducting research and development federal contracts. -Knowledge and skills in enterprise-level strategic planning.

Senior Compliance Specialist

Our customer, located both in the NH and MA areas, is anticipating long-term contract needs for Senior Compliance Specialists; these compliance specialists will be responsible for directly supporting the Defense Contract Audit Agency's (DCAA) audit of the company as well as ensuring the compliance with all applicable financial based Government rules and regulations, including the CAS, FAR and DFARS. Candidates MUST be US Citizens and be eligible to receive Secret Security Clearances.
Responsibilities: -Act as a key interface with the Government (i.e., DCMA/DCAA) regarding Government compliance and support related matters. -Assist in the preparation of required regulatory submissions within the timeframe mandated by the Government, such as the annual incurred cost submission, forward pricing rates, Disclosure Statement, etc. -Provide audit support to DCAA; analyze accounting records and processes and make recommendations for control/process improvements based upon audit results. -Identify and solve problems proactively; exercise a high degree of initiative in the performance of assigned responsibilities.
Requirements: -Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business plus a minimum of 4 years of work experience in Government finance/accounting or internal/external audit commensurate with position responsibilities. -Working knowledge of FAR part 31. -Knowledge of CAS and financial system adequacy criteria, particularly in the areas of: Cost accounting practice changes, Disclosure Statement requirements, Incurred cost submission and forward pricing rate development, Financial system audit/reviews and recommending potential improvements. -Proficiency and expertise in FAR Parts 30 & 31 Experience with EVMS requirements and compliance with the ANSI/EIA - 748 guidelines.
